That really good of you matey. I've got a couple of shotguns and basc insurance. I'm not sure about bein a good lad but I could definitely try really hard not to kill anyone But if the offers there I'm definitely up for it. I don't even have to shoot. I live in Nottingham. I hear the area is pretty difficult to get established. I moved up from Devon where I had a few spots. I wouldn't mind so much but I need somewhere to shoot my rimmy. So I'm trying to find anything just to get my foot on the ladder so a cleared bit of land may become available to me.

Fn12. I love mine. As was said you can get an fn 8 generally more expensive. Get on the falcon owners forum. Recoil on there will be able to tell you the full length of all falcons. I'm 100% that it's shorter that a 410 buy s long shot

Wrong kinda oils / stains. Did you dampen the stock first? Dampen and sand the grain. Repeat until grain no longer stands. Then once left to dry for a day or two. Stain with a water based stain. Let it soak in. Bring it up to a colour you like. I go darker than I want because I use 50/50 oil and white spirit for a wet sand with 600 to fill the pores. Do that twice. Once you've done that. Start with thinned layers of oil. (Thinned with white spirit.) do a couple of layers with white spirit so the oil can really penetrate. Then run over as many layers of oil as you see fit. I do about 10 layers and you get a deep finish. I did this with a beech stock and it came out grand.

If you do get an FAC air rifle you will be able tovzero the rifle at one of your cleared permissions. I haven't found an air range that will take FAC yet. Small bore rifle clubs don't seem to either. Good luck with it just make a good trap for zeroing at your permission

I have a monarch 6-24 and its excellent. In fact it's nothing short of brilliant. You'll get it cheaper than £550 these days and it works great lamping or with nv. Very happy with mine. Great clarity through the whole mag up to 24. Adjustable height on the turrets so if you want to dial in long range shots you can use the ballistic turrets it comes with. Think you could pay around £400 now.

Really meant incase of ricochet. I have a place cleared for FAC air but not for rimmy cause the ground is solid in summer and will ping .22lr all over the shop. Obviously if you don't have a safe backstop you shouldn't be shooting. A sure shot is a safe shot

When I applied I put all down .22 FAC air and .17hmr. FEO said its not a shopping list. Lol. I ended up with a .22lr (my choice) and FAC air. Air is great around buildings. And where there isn't a safe back stop. Just stick to what Kent said.
