  4. HURRAH it will only cost me £250 in fuel + accommodation I don't think Northumberland is now on basc radar
  5. It's a 2.6 thread you have to drill and tap to 3mm beretta do what they call a repair bead it's only a std 3mm bead
  6. Depending if he has any chance of getting your permission stopped I would not take kindly to having my vehicle damaged he could have explained with a reasonable attitude you were to close to his pheasants, go buy yourself a dozen pheasants from a sh1oot lay them across his entrance one night u can be shure he won't get any sleep for a week looking for u on a night
  7. Realy weather or not the warden has the right to search someone is neither here nor there, I would quite happily be searched every time i visit if it deters these people from coming to the Lindisfarne reserve with lead shot. I see ducks shot with lead week in week out away from the reserve and this will continue to happen on game shoots and inland ponds around the country. The point of the post was to stop it happening on Lindisfarne, I run a trout fishery and do not search anyone if I suspected someone stealing fish yes i could call the police but I am in a position same as the warden up there to ban anyone I wish, all I wanted was for these 2 to see the error of there ways before being banned and causing bad press it has been discussed at our club and now any one caught with lead on a club shoot will receive a life ban so everyone now knows the score and can take appropriate action to sort it out
  8. There is a rule on the permit that says you may not have lead shot shells with you whilst visiting reserve
  9. that was the point of the post to warn the individuals I actually dont know these two however I am aware of what is going on the warden is aware also, the birds they shoot will be checked, I prefer they were stopped now with a warning rather than a public court case
  10. Not one idiot 2 idiots and the warden is aware these are not novice shooters they dropped a couple of shells also lead wads in same area
  11. This is just a quick message to let fowlers know you will have a good chance of having your shells checked whilst visiting the reserve, this is entirely down to the actions of a couple of idiots that are susspected of using lead shot. This amonts to just over 1% of permit holders yet will jeopardise the fowling for everyone if you know who these jokers are please have a word for all our sakes.
  12. I would agree if loading 1g and may be 3.5 12g but i dont think you can load 3" steel anywhere near the price of factory loads and using bb in a 3" may actualy reduce your effective range rather than increas it
