    i shot a new bettingsoli overland on the sporting on sunday and i loved it , it was very light in weight ( comparison with my lanber ) but handled superb , cheek , face , bead line up was spot on .

    good question.

    i may be wrong BUT -- it goes on the style i think ie . engraving , grade of wood , case hardening etc

    yeoman and no3 are the most common ones and no 2 and 4 are worth more , especially no 2 ,s .

  4. puting these questions together as its takin ages for me to post stuff on the board .

     

    1.since the new look - why is the pw forum moving so slow , i,m on broad band ntl and its taking ages to flit through the different sections etc , is it my pc or is it the same for every one else.

     

    2. the oil seed rape crop that is starting to flower now , is that classed as winter rape or spring rape.

    same question for wheat and barley , how do you know if its winter or spring barley etc , time its sown or time it emerges / grown .

  5. already got one mate , and lovely it is too with some class walnut , its just a little low on the cheek.

    i,m 5 11" and 17.5 stone ( naked :good: ) also

    any way i looked at a lanber sport multi-choke , 76mm chamber in near mint( about 5 years old ) condition yesterday.

    he asking £300 , does that seem a reasonable price.
