  1. Thankyou for all of your replys, I have taken all of what you guys and girls have said, I tried the back to black great for the gun bad for the coat.!!! So I have bitten the bullet and have taken it to the gun shop to have it fitted. I had try to fit the absorball my self and thought I had made a dam good job of it. However the bloke in the shop asked me to mount the gun in my normal fastion. right then he said to long by a half inch. took one look at the pad and said my god the gunsmith who fitted this needs to be shoot , :*) look at this , look at that , :*) oh dear dear , with that pad off and a kickeze on, the butt squared of and a quarter inch of that will be fine . I stayed very quite. Still many thanks I think the tale of this one is it great to save and try yourself but only if you know what you are doing .
  2. Yep , just what I was thinking , what you said was just on the tip of my tougue. It is good to know the reason behind the result. Thanks

The pad is very sticky and dosent slide into the sholder smoothy is ther any pad anyone can recomend as I and getting the gun fitted soon Thanks Chris
  4. I go to a local club and and there are quite a lot of different guns and autos I havent heard of yours , but I can tell you what I know I have a browning silver stalker and that chuffs them out, even the quick burn 24 grams. when I started I had a 1/4 choke in and was throwing them out 4 to 6 feet, then I tryed a teague extened 1/2 and then the 3/4, due to the squezze affect it was chuffing them out over 12 feet. I was hitting people around the head with the shells. there were people with breettas where they were only dribbling out , they were using slow burn 28 s I have always used a shell that thumps you in and o/u . ie hull storm extra volocity 28gram , D,Js is another the thumpers are the way to go, you dont feel them in a semi. I dont see them banning the semi . But then again who knows what Blair will ban next to get an extra vote .
  5. I have just bought a gun and what you have written is right. If you call the cop shop they can fax you a form or go in and get one This gives you all the relent boxs to fill in. you can then fax it to them.
  6. I Think Blair has bitten off more than he can chew this time , he be going down baby !!!
  7. I went shooting with a mate and the barstad wouldnt sit still. I sat beside him watching what he done. As soon as a bird flew near and jinks a little he shot up and grabed his gun off they went. he went off to do some thing for an hour leaving me to it. I sat on my stool with me gun at my side as the birds came in and moved into the wind I found that when the birds started to flap to brake there vision changes and foucus on the landing this is when in picked up the gun BLAMMMMMMMM if you can contain your exitment try and let one land ,keep a eye on this one , more will come in. when the first takes off or another comes in BLAMM at this one, this will scare up the first one and BLAMM again. Then all you must do is try and wipe the smile off your face ! god life is good , if Blair keeps his hands off it .
  8. I have a browning 425 and have shot skeet with the browning chokes for a while, I then got 2 1/4 and a 1/2 teauge extended choke. Man!!! did that make a difference . more so with the blue diamond fibres . I have never have such a good pattern on the plate no gaps in the group. Its good to see the clays dissapper into a cloud of smoke , but then again just sail on whole , makes you concentrate. I went shotting piegeons for the first time with a friend and had the good fortune to get some great hints and tips , how ever the game keeper ****** himself laughing when I shot a piegion with a half teague at 20 yards, He said **** me you must be a skeet shotter any closer and you might as well be shoting a pillow case. go on lad you better pick up all of those feathers or you wont get another bird all day !! CHris
