  9. !!!BREAKING NEWS!!! Dear all, Thank you for your patience with us over these last few weeks, we understand that a large number of people have been waiting for us to announce our opening date, and you’ll all be pleased to know that we are finally able to do so! Before we could announce the date we needed to finalise some last minute orders and details, so thank you for bearing with us whilst we did so. Please understand that during these last few weeks before opening we will do our best to respond to emails and messages with our usual speed, but we may struggle to do so as we will be extremely busy with our final preparations! We are opening the gates to Eriswell Lodge on Saturday the 25th April 2015 at 930am, and are looking forward to seeing you then! Kindest regards, Eriswell Lodge

  11. Just a little update on the week! We took delivery of our machines and a small supply of clays this week, and were very pleased to see some of those clays flying off of the shiny new Laporte machines during the installation of the skeet layouts. There is still a lot to do with the installations, but seeing clays flying on the ground again was a very exciting sight! Pictures will be posted of the completed layouts very soon - watch this space............ We are also very pleased to announce that we will be stocking Gamebore cartridges at the ground when we open - Gamebore manufacture fantastic cartridges, and are one of the top manufacturers in the UK. For more information on their brand and products please visit www.gamebore.com. Have a great weekend everyone, shoot well!
  12. We haven't made any long term decisions on it yet to be honest, but for this year the BBQ's themselves will be blocked up, the partition wall has already been removed, and it will become an undercover outside seating area. I'm open to suggestions about what to do with it long term if anyone has any! Stuart
  13. As promised, a little update on our expected opening dates! We are working very hard to make sure our facilities are the best that they can possibly be in the short space of time we have had to work on them, and we will continue to work as hard as we have been over the coming weeks! Having assessed our remaining work schedule we are aiming at opening our doors to our valued customers towards the end of April, and are looking forward to welcoming you all then! We will of course confirm an exact date in due course!
  14. Some more update pictures of our work on the Skeet ranges for you all to have a look at! As it was before we started....... As it was during work.......... Range 1 90% finished........... Still a very long way to go, but things are going well! Stuart
  15. Hi all! Some pictures of the installation of the new temporary clubhouse this last week! Plus a little taster of our Skeet range improvements....... There we go! Thats the updates from this week, will post some more at the end of next week! Stuart

  17. Hi all, Some news on the ground as promised! The temporary clubhouse is due to arrive in the next two weeks - weather and temperature dependant! - and we are currently refurbishing the skeet fields, which is a mammoth task to say the least, but they are starting to look very nice! Pictures of the main gates are live on Facebook and Twitter, but I can't seem to figure out how to put them on here....... Can anyone help?!?! Stuart
  18. We are very pleased to announce that today we have entered into a strategic partnership with Laporte Clay Pigeon Traps and The Clay Pigeon Company based in Bottesford. This is very exciting news for us, especially so as we will be using the all new machine design throughout our ground when we open! More details about our other strategic partners will be announced in due course! Stuart (EL)
  19. Of course not! I was merely making specific reference to those that had already commented in the thread! Everyone will be more than welcome when the doors are open!
  20. Good morning All, Here it is from the horses mouth as so to speak! Over the past few months we have been in negotiations with the landlord of the former Lakenheath Clay Target Centre, and are pleased to announce that yesterday we entered into our formal agreements, and are therefore now in a position to reveal our plans to re-open the ground! The grounds new name is Eriswell Lodge, as we felt it appropriate to re-brand the business so as to show an entirely new identity. There will be some very extensive refurbishment and general works being carried out on the site over the next two months or so, so please keep an eye open for specific details about when we are looking to be open for business again! We have a Facebook Page (Under our new name - Eriswell Lodge Ltd), and are also on Twitter - @eriswell_lodge. We do have a website up and running - www.eriswell-lodge.com - but has minimal content on it at present (although we are having some minor publishing problems for the moment, so please bear with us!) Thank you one and all for waiting so patiently for this once great facility to re-open - the wait is nearly over now! I look forward to welcoming you to the site when we are open for business gentleman! Regards, Eriswell Lodge Ltd
