  1. Like i said id help if i could, new shooters and people in the sport are what we need to keep anti gun campaigners at bay. Got quite a few people out and in to airgunning off other forums. The more the merrier. And rifle clubs are a good place to start, some of them will be hunters and have their own permissions. Go talk to them
  2. Basc member, 21yrs shooting, i have nearly a thousand acres of permission but none of it attracts wood pigeon as its all either pine forest where our pheasant shoot is or small holdings without any major harvest. (More for a few here and there with an airgun)I dont want to clean my shotguns in february and put them away til next season like all the other guns do so thought id learn the art of pigeon shooting to keep me busy during off season. The offer is high as i am close to paying matt cole of pigeon shooting leicester for a days guidance. This is a slight reduction on his rate but if someone lives within an hour or so of west yorkshire that really knows their stuff ill pay it for a full day out learning. Or ill swap a day on our pheasant shoot, up to you. Any questions just ask. Thanks andy. Ps, would be great if other members could reccomend anyone they have had a good day with.
  3. Heaven for anti gun campaigners. A lot of my family work for the police and all are in agreement that unless they were certain it was a rimfire round they wouldnt have said so. Hope they take his ticket away and throw away the key.
  4. Must be a wind up, asking a bunch of pigeon shooters how to look after an injured pigeon? Each to their own but if it was a feral, id euthanize it and put it in the bin, as for a woody, id euthanize it and put it in the pot.
  5. Thought it about time i introduce myself. Age 30, I live in west yorkshire, first airgun at 9, first bird with a shotgun at 14. Been in basc forever and currently in a pheasant syndicate. I am a member on other forums, have been for a while but i want to have a proper go at pigeon shooting so joined here. Hope to share a few days out in the future with someone experienced i can learn from. Cheers chaps
  6. Id help you in to the sport if you were closer. One thing to bear in mind is i wont shoot with anyone who isnt insured. And 90 % of landowners require the same. I suggest you join basc or similar before going door knocking pal, give you a better chance.
  7. Yeah that method works fine on other forums but keeps saying file too big to upload on here.
  8. A polar bear! Haha. My bad guys i thought i could avoid photobucket as it works without it on the falconowners forum. But not on here :-( ill sort it out cheers.
  9. Just testing my first upload attempt.
  10. Hi guys, looking for someone who wants a shooting buddy in west/south yorkshire. Im in a syndicate at the mo, have been for a few years but id like somewhere to shoot general pests with my air rifles as the ground our pheasant shoot is run on isnt suitable. You would be welcome as a guest when the season starts to come and have a go at our shoot as a thanyou. Any questions just ask. Thanks. Andy.
