i haven't spoke to basf yet if thats who you mean? my cert has been issued!!! i have the FEO coming round tomorrow to deliver it as special conditions have been added to it stating that i can't keep a gun at my address because of my brother so i'm going to have a chat with him tomorrow then speak to basc if i feels its unfair. i have no knowledge of any reason that my brother is a criminal or has ever even been in trouble with the police and neither does he have any idea why this is but ill find out tomorrow! positive is at least its been issued!!

Ha spoke too soon!! They rang today to query about my brother who has recently moved in at mine and now it's been passed back to the command team for a decision and they can't give me any indication to how long this will take. I have no issues with my brothers background check his an approved herts and Essex police recovery operator! Any thoughts or advice???

Right I spoke to them Friday and they said it was being processed so hopefully should drop on the mat any day now!

so guessing you just rang the general number for essex firearms and didn't contact your FEO?

need some advice? been waiting about 28 weeks since i sent in my application and i had my interview on 1st august cabinet checked the lot was told it would be recommended but still haven't heard anything. dunno whether to call,e-mail or just wait?
