Hi, I've been shooting shotguns since around the age of 12 (now 48) having spent several years as a young lad accompanying my dad and learning the do's and don'ts of gun safety. I am fully insured via BASC and am a competent and safe shot.

Have been a very keen beater over the years (still enjoy a good days 'banter' on the beaters wagon) irrespective of the weather or pay.

Did a couple of years on the open clay circuit but gave that up as always preferred a day out in the field.

Mainly shoot driven game nowadays and am a keen 'small gauge' user (28/410) although will happily take the 12 bore out should it be required. Would like to get back into pigeon shooting again but have no permissions at present so need to go out and find a couple of willing land owners. I am lucky that I can shoot midweek when many of the weekend shooters can't.

I'm also a keen match, carp and predator angler but don't get out as much as I'd like to nowadays.
