Everyone's a comic! I did know exactly where it was but it is also a 2000 acres moorland with terrain that's hard enough to manage in daylight let alone dark or by torch. The £35 it would have been to replace it was an easier option than the effort it would taken to find it. But it's sorted now anyways so all in all a pointless message.

Jeeeez that's some bad customer service, if they don't contact you, try tweeting them if they have a twitter account. I find they soon shift once all the public can see they are slack *****

Result, my brother went this morning for a early shoot and has found my mag, saved me some coin. Would I be best changing the metal ring in it or should it be OK? It's only been a few days

Saturday is the only day I don't work, and it's nearly a hour away from where I live, I wouldn't be able to get there in light hours.

I am looking for some insurance, better to be safe than sorry right. I know of BASA and BASC, one is £20 pa and one is £52 pa, does anyone else use anything different that's worth looking into or are these about the best 2 out there? Thanks
-
Ha ha, if only. It's quite a vast area I shoot in and I know I'm not the only one who goes, far from it. But fingers crossed it's still there. Only had the thing 2 week :(

Well I went for a shoot Saturday morning, was on the way back to the motor when I saw a easy shot 25 yards or so out, gotta take this.. So I did, pulled the trigger but out of pellets, noooo, quick mag change and the rabbits still there. Head shot, result.. Happy as a pig in muck 6 bunnies for the freezer. Off I went home. Trying to tell the missus about my last kill and how i very nearly missed a chance of number 6 when it dawned on me, I did a quick mag change but put my empty mag on the Rock at the side of me, got the kill and walked off. Gutted I got bunny's for the freezer but £35 down on a magazine. Just hope it's there next saturdaywhen I go again, but will it be OK? It's a bsa r10 magazine.

Cracking read, looking forward to the next chapter.

I double loaded Sunday :( Cost me the kill, just took my eye off the ball, easy to do but I won't be making that mistake again. Now i instant re load after every shot

Thanks. It's definitely good to have that option of a tune if all else fails. Cheers
-
Cheers for that chrisjpainter, I have lifetime warranty and servicing and a tune would probably void this which is a bit of a pain

Thanks evo that made for a good read, my brother has just bought a s410 superlite deluxe about 1 hour ago I tried talking him into the s510 but he preferred the bolt action and overall look of the s4.. But I am already toying with another purchase and so far s510 is the front runner. Thanks for the info Andy

What advantages does a tune offer to a straight out of the box bsa r10 mk2 in.22? I've seen a few mention a blueprint of this gun
-
I have the bsa r10 mk2 already but love the look of the s510 so was just curious about the comparison, thanks for the reply

Hi, I've been looking at a few posts lately around the Internet people raving about the aa s510, How does this gun compare to the bsa r10 mk2 and which would you have for hunting? Thanks
