  1. As many will know, foxhunting is still legal here in Northern Ireland.. Sat here at the computer recovering from this damned stomach bug thats going around when I hear a pack of hounds outside my window.. Looked out and saw a few horses going up the road, and a couple of hounds actually on my property. Not something you see every day!
  2. There was, it was the River Cottage guy, and is being rerun again on CH4 - called Hugh's Chicken run, the website is still open too, www.chickenout.tv It certainly would open your eyes about broilers.
  3. Basically as topic, preferably a Chrony F1 or Alpha Cash waiting Nochex or Paypal preferred Cheers Pete
  4. Agreed! (even at FAC power levels!)
  5. Nice pics, I defnitley want one of these, it will be a few months before I can get it though maybe have it for next winter lol Keep them coming! Pete
  6. Good shooting MB! There's a real shortage of mags around this part of the country since the summer. Got one this morning though.. 1st blood for me, and the gun (Theoben S type) Good luck, good shooting Pete
  7. I'd be up for that, no shottie though in fact, never shot a clay in my life before Should be a bit of craic anyway. I'm free this weekend then not for a while, don't know how long. Don't let that spoil it for everyone... if this weekend doesn't suit i'll go next time Pete
  8. All the answers you need (plus one hell of a lot more) can be found on rcgroups, a community much like here, only much bigger and dedicated to r/c models. rcgroups Enjoy Pete
  9. Damn could've gotten you the 340 for 299 all in! Oh well, better luck with the 340  and remember if you need any spares i'm ur man  Have PM'ed you my work email address Pete
  10. Well I could have purchased a similar stihl for around the 160 mark which included the bumper spike, so why cant husqvarna do that?? I bought this husqvarna as I cut down 5-8 trees per year and cut logs for the fire every other week, depending on how many trees have blown over!! So it seemed a waste of money spending 400-900 on a chainsaw, when this husqvarna can do the same job! OK will pm you tomorrow, didnt get this til I got home from work tonight. In actual fact if you pm me your email address I will be able to do it 1st thing in the morning (the forums are firewalled out) As for the Stihl for 160 - believe me, it isnt near as good as the 142. Stihl make some cracking saws, but when they make a cheap saw they make a CHEAP saw. The Husqvarna 137 & 142 are budget saws, they are not even made by Husqvarna, they are made in the USA by Poulan. The rest of the chainsaw range IS made in Sweden by Husqvarna themselves. Pete
  11. I work for an authorised Husqvarna retailer... If you need a bumper spike kit (including screws) (Part No. 5300143-81) give me a shout and i'll get one sorted for you quick sharp We accept credit/debit cards, if you want to PM me your phone number i'll give you a call and arrange it tomorrow. (We have a website and have been trading for over 20 years. We are also on the Husqvarna website as an authorised dealer. If you need anything else, IPL in .pdf etc let me know As for the other saw, good idea sticking it on ebay, i've only ever seen one of these before, but they are a cheap chinese half copy of the husqvarna and appear to be pure tripe. Pete
  12. Wanted, Digital scales suitable for weighing air rifle pellets, accuracy 0.1 grains or better required TIA Pete
  13. Microlights are quite a bit cheaper to learn in, however the NPPL license is only valid in the UK whereas if you get a SEP JAA PPL license you can fly anywhere in Europe (IIRC it does not extend further than this) And yes, there are a lot of people who jack it in - me included Not enough time, or money. Oh well, i've still got my logbook.. maybe will pick it up again sometime in the future. Tip: Flyer forums is an excellent place for PPL advice, http://forums.flyer.co.uk Just while I remember... there is a flying school in South Africa - it's at Port Elizabeth airport - called Algoa Flight Centre Fees are very reasonable, cheaper even than the US/NZ and the weather is flyable 90% of the year. (Ask Jenni Morton on the flyer forums, she spent a month out there a year or two back)
  14. Totally useless... Here in Northern Ireland we pay the highest price in the UK for electricity, and have what must be one of the worst supplies in the UK In the last 10 days alone I have counted 4 power outages
  15. <bump> come on guys! Someone's bound to have a cabinet I could buy?
