Hi guys, finally getting around to get into Clay shooting this year. Had 6 lessons last year and really enjoyed it so decided to take it up fully. Does anybody know if there are any shoots happening this coming bank holiday in the Norfolk region (I live 15 mins south of Norwich)? I have no license / gun yet but looking for a club and make friends..

One of my new year's resolutions (I know, it's a bit early) is to start shooting next year. This year, I've had about 6 lessons (clay) and really enjoyed it. I have no kit and to be honest, I wouldn't know where to start so what I would like to do is join a club to gain assistance and start shooting. I'm located in S.Norfolk (10 mins from Norwich) but would be willing to travel. Could anybody point me in the right direction

Hi, We moved to Norfolk a year ago now and now I'm looking to join a gun club .. complete newbie but have had a couple of lessons recently which seem to be going well.. I see the Tas Valley club is near by (we live in Mulbarton) so was thinking here (but don't really know the best way to contact the club) or could someone else recommend somewhere else close by ? Any help / assistance would be greatly appreciated. James

I'm just starting out and was wondering if anybody could recommend any good books for the newcomer ? I've looked on Amazon and seen that BASC do a 'Handbook of Shooting An Introduction to the sporting shotgun' this any good ? Any other recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Also, is it worth me join BASC (at this stage, beginner) ?
