  1. Well i thought i introduce my self, i'm 16 (just) and i've been shooting for about 6-7 months. I've been in a few competitions for my school like the Heart of England competition and the British Schools Nationals. I've got what appears to be a Browning GTi although me and a few other people suspect its actually a Browning Citori that's had a GTi action put into it because i have never and can't find photos of a GTi that looks like mine and the serial number suggests it was made in '75 (i'll post pictures in one of the the forums when i get some time)....other than that that's it really. ....My usually haunts are Cross guns in Kinver (west mids), Hereford and Worcester gun club and Dovey Valley shooting ground. until I respond to a topic near you I bid you all farewell and Godspeed!
  2. Don't ever compare me to that insufferable oaf again ....at least i made 50%, that makes me feel better, now all we need is a compo at Dovey Valley so i can hit somewhere in the 80%'s
  3. ...i almost fell off my chair when i read this [LR pride mode] You can never replace a Landy (read: series and defenders)....like they said on top gear, they are the best car of all time because when you need help and you see a Landy coming your way you instantly know every things going to be alright. They don't have somewhere better to be and they are made from big lumps of metal which move other lumps of metal that can't not work instead of jap stuff that has a little electronic United Nations that decides on everything and whether you allowed to do that or not. (i know defenders have traction control and ECU's for the TD5's but they don't count ) [/LR pride mode] sorry about that...don't know what came over me there, i've got nothing against jap 4x4's but in my opinion you can't replace a series or defender they are too much of a classic
  4. that is possibly one the most horrible things i've seen.....at least it wouldn't have hurt too much, for too long, i hope....they've got to be able to get something from the bolt
  5. must be something wrong at the FastHosts data centre in glouster...a trace route on the address resolves it to the hosts and the specific server so the DNS is fine there must be something wrong with the server or they must have taken it down for one reason or another
  6. ahhh...my first post. lets make it a decent one! I was in Chris' team too (I'm going to lead a mutiny against him one of these days ) for the nationals, we did better than I thought we were going to to be honest. I managed to shoot awfully though, 24/50, which I was less than impressed about but to be honest it was the first time I'd been to Doveridge (not that the birds were overly difficult) and there was nasty wind up that day which put the clays all over the place....i sound like an F1 driver making all these excuses. by the way....johnny's always depressed about something.....
