Thank you everyone she’s now found a great home 🙂.

I have a beautiful cocker spaniel called amber shes only 16months old.Ive taken her and her sister in from someone that could no longer look after them.Shes brilliant with kids and around the house and loves cuddles doesn’t bark or when left alone. She’s a pretty quite dog very bouncy not destructive and well behaved. She was unfortunately not trained at all but I’ve got her walking with me off lead and recalls a lot better but not 100 percent.
She won’t sit unless you have food but we’re working on that 🤣.I’m looking for a good home for her so not asking any money just someone that can give her a great home. She would make a great family pet or with training she could make a great gun dog as she doesn’t mind the shots when I’ve been out with her.

As mentioned get it cerakoted it’s extremely durable I’ve had a few gun parts done including a moderator. The finish still looks like it was done yesterday.Great thing is you can go any colour you like too 👍.

I did love my mossberg 500 i had a section 2 one with a 24inch barrel but the matching length crimped mag tube.I polished mine up and had the barrel chromed it really did look great I couldn’t hit dam a thing with it though 🤣.After having both the benelli and the mossberg I agree the mossberg will last longer. However if your looking for a pump I would go for an old 870 wingmaster not the never ones though i absolutely love mine and shoot extremely well with it.

I’ve been thinking about getting night vision for my 223 but with so much choice😣. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with some of the models they might recommend?.What I would like is one that fits on the end of a normal scope but it’s not important. Also one that possibility has a range finder 🤔.My limits around £1500

I had one on fac 7+1 a few years back.I found it quite heavy compared to my 1187 that’s 7+1.I couldn’t hit a barn door with mine it just didn’t fit me and there was no stock shims available for that model to adjust it.Apart from that it cycled everything right down to 21g loads and never had to worry about cleaning it much as there’s no gas ports. The switch from pump to semi literally takes a second.

Beautiful rizzini Vertex has really nice wood. It’s a 12g with 30inch barrels stamped for steel shot very clean bores and comes with 5 multi chokes.Tight action.Has a palm swell and larger forend.Balances and shoots extremely well. It’s been the best over and under I’ve had and a hard decision but since having my section 1 shotgun I’ve never shot it so time to let it go. I’m looking for a quick sale to make space so listed it at a bargain £600

When i started out I was required to have a mentor before having my 22lr with met.I had previous range experience but they didn’t take that into consideration. My ticket was closed for about 3 years until I requested it to be opened.

I used to have the varmint t3 in 243 lovely rifle very accurate too.I used the 100 grain sst hornady ballistic tips and 75 vmax.It was Just a pain to carry in the field being quite heavier then the pencil barrel.

Hi Dave the police had the 18inch or 20inch plain cylinder barrel and the corn cob forend.Mine was originally 20inch according to Remington. The standard wingmasters had 26inch onwards vented barrels and standard forend. Also checkering on the stock and forend that the police never had.The older police 80s models like ours had wingmaster stamped on the receiver but the late 80s ones was stamped police and had 3inch chambers.

I had mine same as yours through the neck done 3 years ago.I haven't noticed any shrinking though.

I’ve handled and shot both and I would say beretta. The Winchester felt quite slim when in my hand and I definitely felt the recoil more.

I think eventually all section 2 shotguns will be on section 1 not that it would make a difference to public safety.
They can legislate all they want it won’t make a difference there will always been one that slips through and unfortunately we pay the price for it.
A few years back when I used to shoot down the range there was a bloke who shot there who had an argument with he’s boss so he threaten to shoot him. He’s boss obviously knowing he had firearms and concerned reported the incident to the police and a firearms team came in the early hours and swiftly removed he's guns and certificates.
Now I don’t know what the situation was but some how he managed to get them back around 9months later and started shooting down the range again.A few months after he got into a bar fight and then the firearms was permanently removed from him.
Now in my opinion if assault or you threaten someone in such a way you shouldn’t really have them back at all.
