Can’t believe no one has mentioned

tin baths in front of the fire

    privies down the garden

shiny izal toilet paper if you were lucky

    now wash your hands 😂

And Bronco toilet paper......if it could be called "paper."

  2. When I first tried KFC many years ago (God was still a boy) the very first piece I bit into, the chicken was very pink.  Never tried it again, so maybe it's time I did. The Co-op's looks quite good.....not sure about the coldsore though.

Lead is toxic; the entire point of the ban is to prevent it being scattered all over the countryside.
Unless you’re shooting clays, and then it doesn’t matter apparently.

What about rusting steel, is that toxic?? Any 'papers' published on the subject or testing done, that we can read?  Our bodies can handle/dispose of small amounts of lead. But what about rusting steel?

I bought my DT11 because the first owner couldn't shoot without a release trigger. He said it was in his head but it was the only way he can shoot.

I do get it though, once you pull the trigger, I am not sure how easy it is to decock or if you're committed to firing? I'd like to hear from anyone that has shot one if there's any way to decock or open or anything once the trigger is fully pulled but not released.

    Here you go:

True. In most cases it would separate people from their friendship groups and perhaps the only real interaction they have with people. A revocation would mean complete isolation for a lot of the older people I shoot with who have lost family, friends, wifes, husbands etc to age.

I certainly spend more time with my 'shooting' mates than I do with people who I consider to be my best friends. I shoot several times a week but I may only see my 'mates' every few weeks due to kids, work etc.

Thanks. Not the first time I've had the two mixed up.

Exactly right. A revocation could certainly mess with someone's (dare I say it?) "mental health."  When I go shooting, I may only shoot for an hour or so, and then spend several hours having a craic with the "lads."

As above,  might of been around for a bit, but I have only just found out, the RAC aren't covering you any more for hitting them, apparently it's self inflicted?

How did you find that out?  My friend called them out Sunday morning after hitting a pothole and they were there in about 30 minutes.

I always thought the only offensive thing in Mary Poppins was **** Van Dykes Cockney accent.

"Foxtrot Foxtrot Sierra." Can't even write the blokes name now.  Whisky Tango Foxtrot's going on with this country?

State pension is paid 4 weekly, and the day depends on the last two digits of your N.I. number. I get paid on a Wednesday.

Mine is paid weekly (Mondays). I was given the choice when I first retired.

Had a letter this week from the "tax man" saying that my new code is "K****" which means, they want some tax paying.   Peter gives you a bit more money and Paul takes it away.
