  1. hi panoma1many thanks for your input what you say seems to fit with what I was thinking any idea what the 687 number is could it be the pressure in BAR ?
  2. Hi Andy H that's what I was thinking but could not read the left hand letter in the crossed pikes the proof marks seem to indicate 1952 rules Birmingham and the reproof looks like London this is a great site I am learning loads many thanks to all of you. Graham S
  3. hi Mc Spredder I only purchased this last week and hope to take her out this weekend it is nice tight action and fits well 30" barrels fixed choke I think at 1/4 and 1/2 but not sure

  5. hi lord v I cant see that it would as late as 85 as midland ceased in the 60s early 70s unless that is when it was reproofed

  7. hi all I have recently brought a midland pigeon gun 12g choked with a square cross lock I think it I date around 1950-60 wondered if some of you can give me some more info on it I have attached some pictures
