  1. Aldo

    Hmr wanted

I've got my quad in 22LR for sale (complete kit) at the mo on http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/topic/302265-sako-quad-synthetic-22-lr/ We could maybe do a deal without the barrel if you wanted HMR (unless you have 22LR on your ticket too )
  2. Thanks for the offer but I'm keeping it all together to sell as a package (doesn't look like anyone's in the market for a quad though )
  3. Price drop to £500 .. Would make a great Xmas pressie to yourself
  4. Please feel free to ask if you have any questions about this ad
  5. I'm selling my MTC Viper which has served me well for the last couple of years. It comes with sunshade, flip-up covers, large side wheel, a copy of the instructions and one of those rubber eyepiece thingys. It's got the usual small marks that you would expect on a second hand scope but is in very good nick overall. I'm looking for £190 posted. (BACS, Paypal etc) http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh182/A.../DSC00103-1.jpg NOW SOLD
  6. My .22RF is down as Calibre ".22RF" Make "Sako" Type "Rifle" Action "Bolt Action" Id No "Id No" My 17 Mach2 is down as Calibre ".17Mach2" Make "Sako" Type "Rifle" Action "N/A" Id No "Id No" So basically they put one barrel down as the barrel that goes with the gun (bolt action) and the other is just an extra barrel. Hope this helps
  7. If you use the right size (small enough) scope then you can swop the barrels without removing the scope. Have a search on Airgun BBS 'cos I know I've seen it on there. Edit .. Here's one .. http://www.airgunbbs.com/forums/showthread...light=sako+quad Cheers
  8. I put one of the "kickezze" (spelling?) ones on that are sold the reduce the kick in shotguns. It wasn't cheap (about £25 I think) but it also added over an inch to the stock length so very usefull. It took some shaping to get it to fit but not a big problem if you have access to a belt sander.
  9. This will probably cause a row but I heard that mach2 is more accurate than HMR I once had a 7mm 3 shot group at 120 yards with mine and I like the way that it's a bit less damaging to the rabbits as far as the meat goes. Longest range rabbit so far with Mach2 is 165 yards but I generally keep the shots below 130 (zero'd at 90 which means virtually flat to 105) One of the 2 peices of land that I have is not cleared for HMR so this coupled with the cheaper ammo means that I will be sticking with Mach2 for the foreseeable.
