  1. Living in Canada and trying to import defence or tactical items is a nightmare (they have a funny definition of tactical.) The problem for us here in regards to hunting type firearms and accessories is convincing the American side to let me export it, not my country letting me import it. I am still trying to get a couple long guns across the border that were given to me. Even when they are a gift, if they over a certain value, taxes have to be paid on it.
  2. Bagsy, I gotta ask, how did Chuck fit his ears in those headphones?
  3. My husband did. It was about a 45 yd shot and getting dark quick. We had about 10 minutes of legal light left. That was a yearling moose. Small antlers but a good sized body for a yearling. I just cannot eat those 65" moose; too tough and gamy tasting. The Tikka T3 30-06 now has a Weaver Grand Slam scope on it but all the firearms went through a house fire. We lost everything but the guns and they need to be restored.
  4. I have two beasts, Placer, a wirehaired pointing griffon (Korthals) and Digger a German Shorthair.
  5. Hi NTTF. I live in Edmonton, south east corner. Where is Brad Creek? I have family in the Cold Lake/Bonnyville area. I hope to see them soon.
  6. We have come to take over your BB..... just kidding. Briarscratch was right, it is great to see others around the globe with the same passion for the outdoors. It is interesting to see the different laws and regulations pertaining to hunting and firearms. I live in Alberta now. I recently moved from the Yukon. It was a form of paradise but it was very difficult to live there financially. Of course, we were able to do this with ease. and this go for these with the beasts
