Despite what looks like a bit of a bend on the small stanchion, I think it only need a slight bend on 2 stanchions and the handrail further forward and this will come out!
To straighten anything bent you need to bend it beyond straight to finish with straight, so have another try with your blocks of wood and clamps.

There are 275/40 x 22 A/T which the only 10mm narrower than 285s. To find the dia of a tyre width x aspect ratio ÷ 25.4 x 2 + rim dia. For you tyres 285x0.4÷25.4×2+22=30.976. The 285x0.45 are 1" larger in dia.

If you can find an a/t tyre the same size as your road tyres 285/40 x22 they will be the same diameter as your road tyres.

Just been offer £6300 for the wife's 62 plate Juke shiro with 30000 on the clock from WBAC.com. A good price, but sees decided to keep it as shes 77 and doesn't need a newer car.

If you have a large enough garden to store a caravan on, get the biggest you can tow with your vehicle and when you're not using it you may be able to rent it out to the government to house some of the boat people who keep arriving on our shores.
