Hi,
An elderly friend of mine has approx 200 old paper case rolled turnover lead shot 10g cartridges. Most are Eley Gastight in assorted large shot sizes. I would estimate they are 1950s vintage. They have been stored in dry conditions but some of the metal is showing corrosion. He no longer has a 10g shotgun to test fire a few but in my opinion they would still go bang as they should do 🙂
I am aware that lead shot is no longer legal for wildfowling but thought this was probably the best part of the forum to get an answer to a question on 10g cartridges.
Are these cartridges collectible or sellable?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
