Had a friend unfortunately pass away from a wasp sting on Sunday , he had been stung earlier in the week and was unfortunately on his own when he went into shock and was out for 20 mins
switched off the machines yesterday , frightening what can happen and a sobering thought

Hello group
been on the look out recently for either a Bsa s10/r10 or rapid and I keep seeing ads for the daystate air ranger .
I had a harrier years ago that was stupidly accurate but only running about 10ftbs, probably because I was young and stupid I didn’t try to get it rectified and I just traded it in . In a way it maybe put me off the daystate brand but I am really liking the look of there new range ..can’t I get some honest reviews from people who own them ? Are they easy to get serviced if I can’t or don’t feel like doing it ? What’s the build quality like ? Are they accurate and consistent ?
any thoughts or comments welcome 👍 -

As above a non fac theoben rapid , not fussed on state of rifle as long as I’m made aware of any faults defects
caliber not important
thanks

Mine has the standard silencer , It’s A definite keeper now I did you with selling it but it’s just too accuarate and handles too well to part with .
-
The stock seems original , the silencer and barrel looks different to a lot I’ve seen as well

I’m not a fan of the look of the bull pups to be honest I know that shouldn’t really matter but I like a rifle to look like a rifle haha. I will take a look at the Bsa range thanks lads
-
Sorry upto £800
bottle or air cylinder not fussed as have all charging equipment and buddy bottles for when I’m in the shooting truck
I prefer .177 I know .22 is favored for ratting but I prefer the flatter trajectory
accuracy is my main concern and a good trigger

I’m in the market for a nice compact pcp , something for ratting and occasional rabbit or squirrel while up the farm yard and in the woodland .
The Bsa range look nice and compact but I haven’t had one since the early ultras and the low shot count and leakage I had put me off ? Has the bsa range improved ?
My falcon light hunter was great for ratting and squirrels but I’m wanting something new , just has to be a compact rifle . -

Still for sale, would be open to swap for a nice 177 or 22 spring rifle

So been gifted a hw90 from a friend not been shot for a few years, chronoed and coming in at a healthy 11.2ftlbs. First gas ram ive had or ever shot 😂 the firing cycle is err different to say the least!! And the weight is something else even heavier than my tx and hw77.
Accuracy seems on point so gonna give it a chance and see how I get on with it. Any one else have one? Is the strange recoil just a case of getting accustomed to?

I used to box and kickbox when I was a lot younger, never was a exceptional boxer/kickboxer but I enjoyed it immensely and trained 5-6 days a week over a 15 year period. I do slur occasionally and think it's down to the repeated head contact, still I knew what I was getting into so it's on me. Wouldn't allow my kids to do it though,, heads too precious and I've seen enough to know that you don't want to be punched in the head repeatedly.
