Reading some of the permanent on line dog training plans, they are fantastic...this forum is a fantastic resource.......... As i work away from home 5 days a week, I bought my wife a german shepard (rookie move should have convinced her that she wants a gun dog)....anyway my wife got her pure bred German Shepard that costed flippin bump........I'm just thinking that I could get my wife to do some of that obience training as she is really interested in all the training techniques (Ceasar millan eat your Heart out) as she is buying books and the like to see can she put some manners on the now wayward but improvong 12 week German shepard So not to ramble on........what's the likehood of a German Shepard being trained to be a retriver, has anyone done it or am I wasting my time?:unsure:?

Hi All, I was thinking of buying a clay pigeon trap, I am going on a pheasant shoot in early december in Scotland and need my skills to be top notch (will never live it down otherwise). So I reckon a few weeks practising on clays should improve things...one problem I have no idea of which one to buy. My budget would be anything up to say 800 euro could stretch to €1,000. Any thoughts?

Hi all, found this forum a couple of weeks ago have been reading everyday. I had experience with shooting since I was 16, I am now 30 and in the last month I have got back into shooting and I must admit I am thoroughly enjoying it. My father owns 80 acres (currently in stubble) in Cork, ROI. In the last 5 weeks I have managed to buy all the gear (rotary, hide, decoys, battery, etc) and I have been decoying every weekend for the last 4 with my Father’s gun. I have just purchased a new beretta silver pigeon s and I hope to have it in the next 6 weeks. So hi to all and I look forward to participating in this forum
