i go picking up on a shoot that does a similar thing but only a duck pond. They incorporate a duck drive into a days shooting which is most likely what the syndicate would do. Just gotta find out which days they would be shooting and close the lake then. If you could maybe ask them if they could shoot it first thing so that you can open the lake later on

Just because you can, does it mean you should? Would he take a shot at a real bird that distance?
how does that come into it, he was just seeing how far he could break the target for the crowd - thats what i saw anyway

i am (was) in exactly the same boat. Try looking into commercial policies with the NFU, you can get fiesta commercials with only 2 seats and paneled out rear windows. However for my shooting i went with a Mitsubishi shogun pinin - 4WORK model which is a 2 litre petrol engine and costs me £1095 to insure and £1800 to buy

been a dream of mine to own a 28 after shooting one and noticing what a pleasure it was to shoot and shooting some 20's which were so light and point-able. Does anyone shoot a 28 on here and what are their views on the caliber?
Ive been told that there are some good and bad cartridges out there, which ones should i avoid and which are best?
I am looking at 4, 2 of which are yildiz, one is a lincoln premier and another (the cheapest) is a Webley and scott, has anyone got any view - especially on the yildiz or on any of these guns?
cheers

or pick them and pop them in the freezer overnight
-
is it fairly tight holding? could you wear it upside down and get the cartridges out from underneath?

How old is the gun please? LH or RH What's the differance between the silver pigeon and silver perdiz? Are the barrels factory matt black or have they been sprayed? Are you willing to post rfd to rfd?
Kipper
Not sure how old the gun is but the silver perdiz was the model before the silver pigeon were introduced. It looks like i might be a right handed gun but there is little cast and i shoot it left handed
The barrels are factory blacked, i would rather collection
