  1. Met up with kitdigger57 this morning for a go at the pigeons on the peas.it did not look too promising to start with as it was misty with a bit of light drizzle and windy. I had planned to shoot from a certain place but the wind had changed an on arrival at the farm it was blowing straight into our faces. We did deliberate on setting up with the wind in our faces but the forecast was not too good and it was blowing a good bit so we opted for shooting with the wind blowing from our right. We eventually got set up and had some tricky shooting for the first few hours of the morning. We started to get a few and added them to the pattern in the morning before it started to dwindle off. From around 1200 to 1530 the action did slow down but that usually happens here at this time. The sun actually came out about 1300 and warmed us up. We then had a few more come in till we packed in at 1700. We lost 2 birds in the wheat field behind us and could not see them. I left the dog at home today because of the weather and could have done with her. Ending the day picking up 27 woodpigeon,3 ferals and 2 rooks. Both of us had a good day out.
