  1. I had a invite to Join Muncher and Motty for a flight on the ouse washes today . Things were perhaps a little slower than anticipated but I managed a gadwall a teal and a widgeon , Motty had a Widgeon , he said it was a really good shot as it was quite high , Muncher and I never saw it come down , so I think it was probably sitting in the decoys Muncher managed to scare a few teal but his game bag remained empty As things had gone slow we started to pack up , just as I was about to get the gear on my back , Muncher spotted some Canadas heading our way so Motty and me had a quick fumble for some cartridges , we got loaded up in the nick of time , the geese looked like they were going to come right over us but at the last minute started drifting wide but still in range I managed to get a shot of though and it resulted in my first Canada So once again I am a very happy man tonight , it was also my first goose with my home loads so even better ! Thanks to Muncher and Motty for some good company and Banter.
