  1. I've got a Beretta SV10 Prevail 1 which I'm very happy with and shooting as well as any gun I've owned. However it's got the Beretta Xtra Grain finish to the woodwork which is a laser burnt/etched grain effect applied to a plain piece of walnut, essentially to make it look highly figured when its not. it's not the Xtra wood which was a print applied over the woodwork. Anyway, I can live with the Xtra grain look/effect but the actual grain is very open and I reckon it would look a whole lot better if it was properly filled. However, it's a new gun and I don't really want to strip the finish so I wanted to know if it's possible to fill the train without stripping? Any suggestions gratefully received. Iggy.
