  1. Two of us went out to do a bit of pest control on the rabbits last night. The weather forecast said we would get rain showers but it was not too bad. We had one rain shower where we had to move and shelter underneath a tree for ten minutes. The rest of the time and with what bit of rain we had we just kept looking for the rabbits. Not an ideal night as the cloud began to break up and with it being a full moon lit us up nicely. Although it was cloudy there was not a breath of wind and when we were moving about the rabbits heard us well in advance. Plenty of rabbits about but they soon ran into the long grass or brambles when we approached. We got laid up and had an enjoyable night shooting at the rabbits as they appeared again. We ended the session with 14 rabbits picked up and we should have had a few more. Just hope i can pick a windier day next time.
