  1. Met up with Stuart this morning to ferret a couple of hedgerows or three. It was raining when we got there but we put on the waterproofs and got to work netting up and after an hour it stopped raining. This hedge we had not done this season but we managed to net seven nice rabbits from it.Also saw a kingfisher flying around in the bushes at the bottom of the field. The stream was flowing fast with all the rain we have had and it will have a job catching anything in it as it was really muddy coloured. We moved to another field and this time just bolted the rabbits to the shotgun. We did two hedgerows that were not thick and managed another seven rabbits. We ended up with a total of 14 rabbits which were all clean and we packed up just before it started to rain again.
