  1. As title, anyone done the marathon on the rowing machine? See my other thread for details but just looking for tips and hints really. What sort of times have you done? how long did you train? How far did you actually row in training before the big one?? Cheers Edd
  2. Don't panic, I'm not talking about getting a rattle can of paint to give a best english side lock that Mad Max look. I have just got a Mossberg 500 and the reciever is gloss black with a few scuffs and chips here and there. Firstly does anyone know what that finish is (paint, blued or something else) and what would be a hard wearing finish that would give a satin or matt look and can it be done at home or cheaply. I've seen dura-coat on shows like American Gun but dont have access to an air brush. Just bear in mind This is an old pump gun that cost me £110 so I dont want to throw loads of cash at it when a new one can be bought for less than £400. cheers
