  1. Getting into muzzle loading and i have had loads of members PM me with advice and such which has been really helpful. Others have offered to help find a muzzle loader for me, which has also been very helpful. Just want to say a word of thanks to Bruno22rf who after sharing some advice with me, he went right ahead and sent me a load of plastic pots no questions asked to carry powder measures in, which is exceptionally kind of him. A true gent and a credit to the forum. Thanks to everyone who has helped. All the best, James.
  2. I'd like to say a massive thank you to bruno22rf (Chris) who very generously offered me his old Baikal 16 gage hammer gun, plus nearly 200 cartridges! I picked it up yesterday and I'm absolutely over the moon with it - I was hoping to get out this weekend to try it out but work and family commitments have made that impossible so, weather permitting, I'll be out on Monday afternoon. It was great to meet him and his wife (and the dogs) and what nice people they are. I hope that one day when I too find my cabinet overly full I'll be able to gift it to somebody else. Once again, many thanks to Chris, I really do appreciate your generosity.
