  1. I saw this on a "Care2Petitions" web site, asking people to sign a petition against the above. It states: " 'Cubbing' is a cruel practice where young dogs are trained to hunt by ripping fox cubs to shreds. Please sign this petition to demand that the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) crack down on this illegal activity. Fox cubs have little chance of surviving a cubbing, because they are trapped in a fenced off area. There is no justification for this organised cruelty. Stricter, well-enforced punishments for those who engage in cubbing would help save countless fox cubs from a horrific death. Please sign this petition now and ask that cubbing be more effectively tackled. This petition will be delivered in September to Defra's offices. If enough people sign, they will have to recognise that the public believes cubbing is barbaric and unacceptable, and needs to be stopped." I have never heard of this. Does this occur and if so, how/what type of dog would this practice be training??Where would people get the fox cubs from??
  2. went out shooting sunday morning with a friend. We went for deer but once again we did not see one. When sitting we came across 2 foxs my mate shoot them both as i did not take my gun as i was on the drink the night befor and was not the best. He done well to shoot both as we have not seen any foxs about for some time now. This is also the same for the Roe deer.
