    Mate came round yesterday with a mariner 3.3 outboard engine ..that was given to him by some "boating chancer"...you know the admiral type ...yaght club blah blah blah......take it away its seized old boy ..what what ...donchya know!! anyway i started doing stuff to it and found out ...it had been laying on its side for a couple of years and water/condensation had gone into one of the crank bearings (ball) and rusted it...also found out that one of the end seals was inside out.......the engine has never been split so it was put together wrongly.....ordering up 2 bearings and 2 rubber seals ........jobs a gooden...
