flytie
I was invited to the Lyalvale works and had a tour round. I saw D&J shells being made from the broken down remains of rejects from other runs of premium shells. I do not use them. I have used special pigeon loads (fibre) from Hull, Gamebore and Lyalvale and got on well with all of them, but I prefer 32gx5's for no apparent reason, I just do! I also like high brass cases, preferably in red, doesn't make them pattern any better out of my gun though. If you are that concerned, pattern lots of different shells and see what produces the best pattern through your gun. Or even better, invest that money in lessons on how to shoot straighter, I did. ft
