TheHunter
why not buy a sako quad and just buy the additional barrel?? this will give you more money to spend on other toys! Regards, gixer I did exactly that and regretted it straight away. My problem came as we finished rabbits with the .17 late at night and were doing ground pigeons first thing the next day with the .22 Swapping the barrels and getting a zero everytime turned into a real B*** ache even knowing how many clicks to change the sights didn't really help because their was always a 1 or 2 click difference to get it spot on. I did it to save money and if you have a really tight budget then it is an option but if I were you I would get two rifle setups. It will also save you the problem of explaining to the firearms department that you only want to sell a barrel and not the whole rifle (what a BARREL of fun that was) and that you want a one for one swap but will end up with TWO rifles without giving them another £26 quid(Oh how we laughed........) Two rifles if you can afford it. TH Edited October 5, 2009 by TheHunter
