Cranfield
There have been a lot of posts lately, regarding shooting over rape stubble and the expectation of some good sport over the wheat stubbles. In my area most of the Farmers are cultivating the rape stubble, within 2-3 days of harvesting. I know some of them use Contractors for both jobs and that could be the reason. These boys work 16+hours a day and are keen to move on to the next field. Hopefully, the wheat stubbles will be left a bit longer, but I am not so sure. Is anyone else having the same experience ? M ROBSON
We're lucky not to have that problem, most of our farmers are DIY. It's great on the farms that have really old gear!
