apache
Chaps I have a cheap Webley .410 single barrel and have got a bore snake. I also want to be able to give it a 'proper' clean. I've picked up a Bisley .410 mop and wire brush and was told they fitted onto a .22 rifle cleaning rod, so bough one of them too. They don't fit! The thread is somewhere between that of my 12 bore rod and that of the .22 rifle 1 piece Parker Hale rod. Grr Can I buy a thread adaptor? What rod do I need? (soon I'll have spent as much on it as I paid in the first place!) Thanks in advance - off to bed now!
Vince Green
Incompatible threads on cleaning rods and brushes is an age old problem. Parker hale is sort of standard now but each manufacturer uses their own thread.
apache
Thanks! Bisley must make a rod that fits their brushes!
