Staffs-Shooter Posted July 22, 2005 Report Share Posted July 22, 2005 (edited) had a tough day today. Set up early (8.30) on a big field of Barley. By eleven the farmer turned up to start bailing! Moved to next field - pigeons moved on! Moved down the road further to find a field with birds on but the blighters wouldn't decoy despite putting in & out rotary(s), flappers, shells etc. Ended up with 70 birds to 2 guns. B;asted hard day! Only shooting half a day tommorow due to party on the night (sigh of relief!)
