longrangesniper1953
Hi Lads The said Rifle .270 Remington LSS was posted on the 18th August @ 10.34PM not Today as some people may think, see link below. http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/ind...showtopic=96568 There should be a time limit on items to notify people that an Item has been sold , by this I mean after say 4-5 days Max , after the said item has sold it must be posted as ( SOLD ) , or they are not allowed to post again for 6 months. This would help clean the site up of un-know sales or unwanted items ! What do people think about this its only polite to let people know an item has SOLD ? Starman
There will be people who are only on here to sell an item and who wont be bothered if they can't post for six months. There will be those who will mark an item as sold and there will be those who just genuinely forget. If you ban those that forget from posting for six months you would just cause problems. There would be people arguing about the exact date of the sale and whether they posted "sold" in time. Who would want to police such a thing? You could alienate regular contributors to the forum. cleaner4hire
seems a bit harsh to ban people for that. tbh if someone was interested I imagine that they would find out it was sold when they contacted the seller... nobody is put out by having to send a pm expressing interest.
