SNAKEBITE
Read today in the paper (SUN, if you can call it a paper ) that there is a population explosion in the forest of Dean of the Grey variety. This is causing great problems in the tree destruction department. It ends by saying that the Forestry Commision do not have the resourses to cull the blighters. If you live in the region why not get a posse up and offer your services to the Forestry Commision and round up the varmits.? They can only say no. If you don't ask you don't get. Fisherman Mike
Spot on.... Last year around Cinderford and Coleford on Private land I must have shot over 100 of the blighters. They breed like rabbits and are fed by unsuspecting Tourists. They are a big predator of birds eggs and young, can reach the most inaccessible of nests are a non indiginous species and should be obliterated. I havent seen a wild Red Squirrel for 36 years.! And this is a great shame. FM.
Ferret Master
Hi, I read this in the mail today with interest as we have just lost a tree due to the little verminous creatures barking around the trunk of the tree. In my Gran's garden last year we trapped and shot about 15. She hate's them with a vengence as they nick all her bird food!

SNAKEBITE
Someone at work heard on the radio last week that the Forestry commision is going to steralize the squirrels so they don't breed any more More money than sense.
