hw90 OVER POWER

that HW90 i bought from one of the kind lads on here was over powered.it was causing it to shoot all over the place.the rings and build up of the german gun is not equiped to go over the 12 foot mark,thus why it was spraying all over,even the gunsmith couldnt get the pellets to group,he put it doen to 12foot pounds and it was much better.i dont know enough about guns to say if this is how it is but that s what the gunsmith said was the problem.There seem really friendly in that Keith sports in saltburn,not stuck up there own **** like some gun shops i know of,ie in Middlesbrough.

It's nice when you go to a friendly gunshop mate, good job he changed the power because if you got caught with it then it would be classed as a firearm with it being over 12ft lbs

an HW90 should be able to go up to 18 ft/lbs and still be 'bob on'

obviously you would have to have an FAC though

 

if it has a carbine barrel it will be happier at sub 12ft/lbs

also if the crimp ring in the pivot point of the break barrel in bust or the bolt is loose this would also account for inaccuracy as it would have sideways play when you closed it. (there should be no sideways play in the barrel)
