Its the rear silencer and the bit of pipe before it has got a couple of holes so does anyone know what i will be expecting to pay to get this fixed? thankyou. chrispti
A tube of liquid metal from Halfords might work if the holes are not too big. I patched up the Mrs car exhaust just over a year ago using this stuff, just passed another MOT Come to think of it, I also repaired my old motorbike down pipes with it too
Boromir
I maybe able to patch up the pipe but I dont think Ill be able to patch up the backbox as I think the Heat shield (I think thats what it is called) is coming off, as there is a flap off metal thats hanging off and every time I rev up it rattles and its left a hole big enough to put your thumb in.
