Imperfection
Just stick improved cylinder (IC) in and leave it at that.
mike.ginty
I would stick with improved cylinder (1/4 choke) as well it does depend on distance from your target for long distance shots you could get a tighter pattern from a modified choke (1/2). chokes increase or decrease constriction of the barrel depending on the choke used. Cylinder skeet 1/8 choke Improved cylinder 1/4 choke Modified 1/2 choke Improved modified 3/4 choke full 1/1 choke the higher choke the more constriction of the barrel increaseing pattern tightness and distance there is a few topics on this subject have a search. Spaniel
I just have 1/4 in mine for pigeons and for steel shot for wildfowling
COACH
Yep! Stick in the improved cylinder (1/4) until you get use to the gun and start shooting more accurate, then move up to modified (1/2). Don`t try to shoot anything out too far though with the I.C (1/4) its not fare on the animal if you don`t kill it out right. 30yds is enough to be sure.
