Aldous Huxley
I just got given (for free:)) a very old and superficially rusted BSA meteor. Seems to fire ok, however the iron sights are wrecked and there does not seem to be any scope mounting ability, there are just two grooves running parralel to the meteor writing. How do i get a scope mounted without using gaffer tape? edit, I am truly an idiot, just tried using those grooves and it worked... staglioni
Those groove's are your scope rail, you should be able to pick up a cheap scope for it
Aldous Huxley
Those groove's are your scope rail, you should be able to pick up a cheap scope for it Thanks, had a spare rubbish scope which came with the rifle, just unfitted, however it took me a while to realise it quickly came loose if not really tightly screwed, I truly have been spoilt by my cyclone Now need to see if it has any power or accuracy, sadly the chrono is on the christmas wishlist, so ply wood will have to do.
