The New R4 8GB SDHC card i have down loaded drivers etc but can only get this to come up with LOADING on the good working DS.. So I have 2 probs 1. My DS dont want to read R4 cards anymore but is fine with original games 2. Had to buy an updated compatible R4. the above post is bang on its highly likely that you have taken unwittingly the 1.4 firmware upgrade this updates defeats many cards rendering them useless !!! There are cards available that will still function perfectly well and there may be @ some time a firware flash for some cards although don't hold ya breath ... Any one not taken the update i suggest you dont its contained in some games but it asks you 1st .... sorry to bare bad news ut @ least you know and it may save someone else updating if they read this post saving £20 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

All i know it was working fine on the morning but not on the evening, its the 7 yr olds DS and i dont think she does anything via wireless other then that picto chat thing, but she has not been on that with her cousin for a few weeks now Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

humperdingle Posted November 29, 2009 Report Share Posted November 29, 2009 Actually, the first card my wee girl had (EDGE card) Had a bad habit of seemingly wiping the contents of the micro SD card. Put the card into the PC, and all the files were gone! I'd have to re-write the files back onto the card every month or so, but then all the .sav files were lost too. Might just be a duff card.
