enniskillen
Hi guys, have been looking at a AYA o/u multi choke 3" barrels for a second gun.Has anyone used them and what are they like for quality?
Dunkield
They are pretty solid reliable workhorses, I am guessing you are looking at the Yeoman which is the most common boxlock, non ejector. Lets see what any one else thinks.
Big Dog
Enniskillen You will get a great spread of lead with 3" barrels, watch you don't blow your finger nails off Couldn't resist that M8. I have never shot a AYA O/U but used to use AYA S/Ss. I though they were great. Straight shooters. Did some of my best shooting with an 28" Yeoman. If you can get one with ejectors I would go for that. If you are decoying it help for quick reloading. How did you get on at the ducks on Thursday?? TX Sniper
i have an aya no4 which i bought from fishermanmike ands its an excellent gun. well made, handles well and the ejectors are sound. im sure the o/u would not differ in quality too much from their sbs counterparts. enniskillen
Thanks guys, its one with ejectors.not sure of the model but it says special edition on the barrel. Big Dog we got 15 ducks on thursday between us both, kept 6 myself(ate already) and the rest went to mates.Dont believe in wasting them. enniskillen
Well guys so much for the AYA,went to the gun shop this morning and bought a Beretta 687 silver pigeon :yp: loved the look and feel of it.Much the same as the AYA,3" chambered and multi choke but a far better gun. Cost a bit more too
enniskillen
oh 4got to say i traded the beretta A304 for the 687,so still only one gun.Thats what happens when the heart rules the mind. Only had the A304 for 3 weeks great gun but couldnt miss the chance of the 687 in such good condition.
