spartan80
Hi all I bought a new 'fausti' 12b shotgun last autumn with 76mm chambers (3inch). (FYI fausti are Italian and make guns for one of the rizzini families) I checked the proof marks yesterday but there's nothing there to state its proofed for magnum loads. Its got 12/76 which is Gauge and chamber length. It was proofed in 2008 so can I assume that 76mm automatically means it can withstand magnum loads and pressures? Cheers
Andy H
The new euro proof rules go on chamber length now so yes it is proofed for magnum loads.
