Match Day in support of Help for Heroes

On Saturday 23rd January, Caldy Rugby Club will be hosting a luncheon for serving soldiers, followed by a match day dedicated to raising funds for ‘Help for Heroes’ a charity that provides specialist treatment and support for soldiers injured in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The event is sponsored by ‘Go Commando’, led by Greg Pye, a former Royal Marine Commando.

The match between Caldy Rugby Team and Loughborough will kick off at 2:15 pm. All members of the community are invited to attend, and serving members of the forces will receive free admission, this includes all matches at Caldy, up to and including the Sevens event in May.

The event will take place at Caldy Rugby Club, Telegraph Road, Caldy

By getting involved in Help for Heroes you’re helping to change the world. All the money raised will be spent by Help for Heroes to transform the lives of wounded service personnel.
