nickcass23
Hope someone can advise me, I ve got a Mitsubishi Animal 2.5td. I've been using the 4 wheel drive quite alot recently in high ratio because of the bad weather and have noticed that now its back in 2 wheel drive all the time I seem to get a klonking sound when going round a bend at reasonably low speed say 10-15mph. I thought I would see if anyone had any advice before i take it to the garage and get ripped off.. Thanks.....Nick
al4x
is it a regular clonking noise? if so try putting it on full lock and driving forward, if it ticks repeatedly then its a CV joint gone. Fairly common and not too hard to do yourself the parts about £80 from milners from memory

al4x
its not a cv in that case and there is less to go wrong at the back and sadly I think its suspension setup is different to my L200 so not sure but sounds a bit like a bush thats worn so may not be mega
