My first post, well actually second, as i've spent way too much time reading all the past topics

Had my visit this afternoon about my SGC and FAC, decided to do half a days beating in Chelmsford to take my mind off it. Took Finlay our springer (he's starting to come good for me which makes it delight to work him) he was his usual hypa self, must try and get a picture up.

Anywho got back and got the kettle on the boil, lovely bloke which made things so much easier, had a good chat (didn't want tea/coffee  ) 20 minutes all sorted, will need to wait a year or so before moving to a centrefire, he suggested .243 i was thinking .223, but thats by the by as im happy with the .22 for the time being . Added bonus will be open ticket from the start.

So as title suggest, its been a good day, although i'm getting a hankering once the license comes to go shopping, it isn't going to happen for a bit thought, luckily dad says i can use his .22 BRNO and one of the Henry Atkins that were his fathers (didn't know who the hell he was til recently  found out in one of the ads in Sporting Gun  , bit apprehensive taking that out Pigeon Shooting but as he says "You don't have a Rolls Royce to leave it in the garage"

And to anyone who has their visit coming up.....relax as more than likely you will get on well with them, have alot to talk about, and you'll have a person you can contact if you ever have questions, and you can never have enough of those people.

Gus
