Topgunners
YO all. Finally found the pigeons after mooching for ever and a day. scuffled the beans and ruffled a fair few birds feathers. Got a phone call from a farmer yesterday saying he had seen a few birds flitting over his rape. We drove to the fields yesterday 4 times and saw 1 or 2 max and had an early bath as there was nowt about. Drove round the "square " today and covered 3 counties and nothing to see and as we were finally about to give up decided to try the rape fields one more time. When we arrived there about 2.00pm there were dozens of pigeons dropping into an adjacent BEAN field that he had scuffed mid week and there were hundreds of beans on top of the soil. We set up 2 patterns spread out with a pecker and magnet in the middle and shot 72 pidgy's in 3 1/2 hours . Happy days. PERSERVERANCE triumphant.!!!!!!!!!!! Anybody else had any luck this weekend.??:o?? P.S Might pop back on tuesday before he starts planting his wheat. DAVE K.
