saunders.shoots
Which goose call would anybody recommend for canada's ?
mudpatten
Try a Buck Gardner Canada Hammer 2. It`s a short reed call which can take a while to become proficient with but the effort is well worth making. Type "canada goose calling" into You tube to get a flavour of the realism of the s.r. call.

mudpatten
The Haydels call is a modern version of the old fashioned resonant chamber type call and is pretty much restricted to a couple of sounds. They`re good to start off with because they require very little technical ability but they are short on volume and vocabulary. In the youtube clip Sean Hammock is using a short reed call which can replicate the entire vocabulary of the canada goose, at great volume if needed. Unfortunately, it is not possible to replicate many of the sounds made by Hammock on the particular Haydels call referred to above. Good luck with whatever you choose.
